A poster honoring the ascent of the chilean miners
The Fenix2 was only 21 inches in diameter…
This poster represents the ascent of the Chilean miners from the depths back to the surface. The circumference of the circle is the actual size – 21 inches – of the Fenix2 that the men were brought back to the surface in. The 33 mean are listed, in order from left to right, with the times they emerged from the Earth.

Here’s a 5×7 screen print illustrating germs (a cold) multiplying in a petri dish. It illustrates the length of time from New York to Paris to Tokyo and how long it takes for the germs to form. I should say it’s just hypothetical results. I may revisit this idea again with real results… maybe get more technical, and add a layer of type or a plane route details…. the description of the piece is also screen printed on a piece of vellum that goes with it….
